RULES FOR TAKING PART IN THE EVENT “ROERO DAYS 2019”
Bologna, Palazzo Re Enzo, Sunday 31 March and Monday 1 April 2019”.
Art. 1 – Organisation: the event “ROERO DAYS 2019 – Bologna, Palazzo Re Enzo, Sunday 31 March and Monday 1 April 2019” is organised by the Consorzio di Tutela Roero, with the aim of promoting awareness of the Docg Roero wines among a wider range of general consumers and professionals of this sector. The event is nonprofit.
Art. 2 – To participate in the event: each participant, before entering the premises, must complete and sign a form of personal identification and acceptance of these rules. The form can be filled in beforehand online or manually just before entry. If asked by staff, a valid ID must be shown.
Art. 3 – Entry to the event: The event is only open to adults. Minors may be accompanied by adults and cannot consume wine or alcohol. Entry is free for minors under 18, who must be accompanied.
Art. 4 – It is forbidden to bring drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, or food of any kind into the event premises.
Art. 5 – It is forbidden for all participants to sell any kind of goods.
Art. 6 – Participants are required to pay a contribution to the event with the purchase of an entrance ticket of €15.
Art. 7 – Access to the event may be forbidden, incontestably and without necessarily providing a reason, to any person whom the Consorzio representatives consider advisable to exclude.
Art. 8 – All participants of the Tasting Laboratories are required to contribute to the event by the purchase of an entry ticket of €25, which gives access to the gastronomic tasting session at the end of each laboratory. The ticket for the Laboratories does not give exemption from paying the €15 entry ticket to “ROERO DAYS 2019 – Bologna, Palazzo Re Enzo, Sunday 31 March and Monday 1 April 2019”. Two tasting Laboratories are reserved for Professionals of this sector on Monday; places must be booked through the Consorzio website and availability will be limited.
Art. 9 – Members of the associations AIS, ONAV, AIES, FISAR and Slow Food are offered entry reduced by €5. These reductions are not applicable to the tasting laboratories.
Professionals of this sector (proprietors and employees of wine purveyors and restaurants, oenologists, wine representatives, professional journalists, teachers in the oenological and agricultural fields in High schools and Universities) are exempted from paying the entrance fee of €15.
The only exemptions from paying the entry fee for the Tasting Laboratories are granted, on the Consorzio’s approval, to professional journalists, who must show their professional membership cards before accessing the event rooms, and to guests expressly invited in person by the Consorzio.
Free entry is offered to expectant mothers, who do not therefore have to buy a ticket.
Art. 10 – Visitors are required to keep up constantly decorous behaviour, and should this rule not be observed they will be invited to leave the premises of the event “ROERO DAYS 2019 – Bologna, Palazzo Re Enzo, Sunday 31 March and Monday 1 April 2019”.
Art. 11 – Visitors are forbidden to bring animals onto the premises.
Art. 12 – Cloakroom facilities are free. The Consorzio takes responsibility for clothing, which can be retrieved with the token issued when the clothes were handed in, but will not be responsible for any money or valuables left in the garments.
Art. 13 – Deposit for the glass and glass-holder necklace: all visitors are required to pay a deposit for the glass and holder given out by staff. This sum will be returned fully when the glass and holder are handed in before leaving. The strap can be kept by the participants, free. If requested the visitor can be given a receipt for the deposit and thus opt to keep the glass.
Art. 14 – Entrance is allowed between 10 am and 7 pm, unless otherwise limited by the Consorzio for reasons of organisation or safety.
Art. 15 – The success of the event lies chiefly with the producers of Roero Docg present, who are invited to collaborate and to be as actively and positively involved as possible, applying their professional knowhow to enabling everything that the Consorzio di Tutela Roero has organised to be achieved.
